Thanks for the support, Soldiers! I may have failed to make it perfectly clear, but the idea WAS to film this Live Action and then add CG to those shots :D It is indeed the best approach to this scenario. I speculate as to involve "Filmproduksjon" on Noroff, asking for actors. But I believe, as the actors are to be soldiers, it would be best to involve some special friends of mine. Even if this pitch doesn't make the screen, it would be AWESOME to do as a Portfolio Work.

Out of the two ideas I do think this one is the most 'do-able' in the time you have.

Eivind does a great job in marking out the main theme of your idea and presenting it in a way which leaves the audience with a clear understanding of the main character's personality, possible goal very quickly. Eivind helps us to think of a character we can all relate to (in some way!) regards ego etc and i think this strong personality type can be set-up for a fall...or not...

I think the grim reaper should be canceled out of this idea, and if included in the film only as one quick obstacle, not a main antagonist.

Questions that come to mind right now is how to fun in making a stylized 3d character be the AWESOME one? How does s/he relate and react to other SIMPLE objects/characters? Does the way this awesome character react to other simple characters develop the short story, like developing opposites? ..from awesome to scared? (scooby-do).

How do we conclude this story? Awesome character is made humble? or even more arrogant? You will find that short stories like this are moral based where the main character becomes humble in the end (in an inventive creative way!) which teaches the audience - us - a lesson.

More development on the finer points of plot, style and staging of story elements is needed in this idea, but with a focused and creative group muchh fun can be had in all aspects of this production.
